Removing the Halfshaft Joint on the Audi A6 C5

In this video, see how to remove the front halfshaft on the Audi A6 C5, second generation, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel; then, unscrew the mounting bolt that connects the halfshaft to the brake system by removing the brake caliper. At this point, unscrew the fastening bolts of the halfshaft joint using a socket wrench; all that’s left is to pull the halfshaft outward, moving the front hub to finally extract the front halfshaft, as shown in the video!
