In this video, see how to remove the front halfshaft on the Audi A6 C5, second generation, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel; then, unscrew the mounting bolt that connects the halfshaft to the brake system by removing the brake caliper.

At this point, unscrew the fastening bolts of the halfshaft joint using a socket wrench; all that’s left is to pull the halfshaft outward, moving the front hub to finally extract the front halfshaft, as shown in the video!
