Extract the metal key from the remote, then press the button and pull down to remove the battery holder; once the battery holder is extracted, you will see the battery, which you need to remove from its slot and replace with the new one (CR2032). Once the new battery is inserted, reposition the battery holder inside the remote and insert the metal key.
