How to replace the battery of the Audi vehicles' remote control

Audi A series vehicles use the same remote control to open and close the vehicle; this allows us, in case the battery is low, to perform the same steps to replace the battery. To replace the key battery, we need to insert a flat-head screwdriver into the side in order to apply slight pressure that will allow us to separate the top from the bottom. We use the same screwdriver to open the bottom part of the remote control in two pieces and remove the old battery. We install the new battery and close the bottom part, put the two parts together and test the remote control's functionality.
