Auxiliary Belt Replacement Instructions

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012
Part: V-belt

To replace the auxiliary belt, first remove the air filter housing cover and then the timing belt cover to access the crankshaft pulley that drives the auxiliary belt. Next, loosen the tensioner, slide the belt off the pulleys, and remove it. Ensure the new belt is compatible (length and number of grooves) and install it in reverse order. It may be helpful to lift the vehicle on suitable jack stands to access the tensioner from underneath the chassis. Once the new belt is routed around the pulleys, tension it using the tensioner and reinstall the covers.

How to Remove the Dome Light in a Mercedes C-Class

In this video, see how to replace the bulb or LED in the dome light of a Mercedes C-Class. Using a screwdriver or plastic trim tool, pry between the dome light cover and its perimeter (without breaking the plastic), remove the grille from the dome light, and then take out the clear plastic cover. Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Reinstall the plastic cover in its housing (press it in with your hands until the tabs are fully secured). Test the light's proper functioning before reinstalling the piece.
