In order to replace the auxiliary belt, first remove the cover of the engine air filter container and then also that of the timing belt in order to free the crankshaft pulley which controls the auxiliary belt; at this point loosen the tensioner, slide the belt off the pulleys and remove it; make sure that the new belt is compatible (length and number of grooves) and install it in the reverse order: it could be convenient to lift the car on suitable car stands and access the tensioner from under the floor. Once the new belt has been passed between the pulleys, tension it through the tensioner and refit the covers.

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
