In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel door actuator on an Audi A6, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then open the door using the emergency pull cord located inside the trunk in case of failure. Once done, pry off the entire inner frame of the door using plastic trim tools to avoid leaving marks. At this point, simply remove the mounting screws of the actuator with a Torx T15 wrench, disconnect the connector, and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
