How to code the window limit switch on an Audi A3

If you replace the battery in your Audi A3, you will need to recode the window limit switch as it loses memory. Here’s how to do it. First, enter the vehicle and check the window closures. Insert the keys in the ignition and lower the windows; the automatic button does not work. These buttons have two positions. Pull it twice with the window closed to register the closed position. Then open the window and press position two to register the open position. Repeat this operation for all four windows. Verify with the remote control and see that all windows close. If needed, the coding for the windows on control unit 46 is: CODING 07- BYTE 03.
