To replace the license plate holder on an Audi A4, first loosen the bolts that secure the license plate to its mounting. This will allow you to completely remove the plate. Once the plate is removed, locate the corresponding license plate holder. Remove it from its mounting by unscrewing the two side screws. After the screws are removed, you can completely detach the old license plate holder from its position, allowing you to install the new one. Secure the new holder with the appropriate screws.
