To reset the Service light on an Audi A4, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port: this is located on the lower left side of the dashboard near the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, select the corresponding car model and version; then, perform the Service light reset operation using the scanner, which can then be disconnected. After removing the scanner, turn on the ignition to verify that the reset was successful.
