How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on the Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012

To disable the passenger airbag on the Audi A6, open the glove compartment located on the front passenger side. Here, in the upper left housing, you will find a lock with the airbag symbol. Rotate this lock from ON to OFF to deactivate the airbag, which will also turn on the corresponding indicator light. When you need to reactivate the airbag, simply insert the key back into the lock and turn it back to ON, then close the compartment.
