How to Replace the Battery in an Audi A4

When the battery in your Audi A4 is dead and cannot hold a charge, you need to replace it. Open the hood, lift the trunk floor and secure it, remove the spare tire and its support base. Take out the tool holder where the tire changing tools are stored. Using a ratchet wrench with an extension and a 13 mm socket, remove the bracket that holds the spare tire above the battery. Now, remove the terminals, starting with the negative terminal, pull out the vent tube, unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket, take out the old battery, and clean the battery tray. Insert the new battery and reassemble everything in reverse order.
