How to open the fuel door locked in the Audi A4?

In the Audi A4, it can happen that the fuel door gets stuck, for example due to a malfunction in the control button or lock actuator. In these cases, we can still perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the trunk door, then we remove the panel on the right wall and locate the indicated red cord. We then grab this cord and pull it outward to unlock the lock. At this point, it will be possible to both refuel and repair the faulty element.
