How to replace the battery of the Audi A6 key.

Model: Audi A6 C7, MK 4 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Key

The replacement of the battery for the Audi A6 remote/key is a very simple operation that can be done independently, reducing costs at the workshop. To replace the battery, we need to remove the top part of the remote so that we can extract the key inside. Immediately after, we insert a flat-head screwdriver into the hole to pry open the remote into two parts. Once opened, we remove and insert the battery. We close the remote, insert the metal key inside, and test the functioning of the remote/key by going near the vehicle.

Open the boot lid, and using a screwdriver, unscrew (with a socket wrench or screwdriver with a bit) the securing nuts located at the side of the rear headlight. Once the headlight is free from any constraints, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the damaged bulbs with identical ones in size and voltage.
