How to Enable Hill Start Assist on an Audi A1

In this video, you will learn how to enable the hill start assist function on an Audi A1: you will need an OBDII to connect to the EOBD port to perform the operation. Remember that this small device can be purchased for just over £15 on any e-commerce platform. The EOBD socket is located under the dashboard; then you will need to use your smartphone, where you have downloaded a decoding app like Carly. In the bottom right, you will find a blue icon to press, then go to o3 and then to the coding at the top right of the screen where you can see the code 0101.0110. Click on that and then type 22, click on "done", and then you will see several bits; press "0" and wait. This will connect the car. The TPMS light will come on, but do not worry. Turn off the car, then turn it back on, and the light will go off. After this, return to your blue icon, go to "adaptations": the second option at the bottom says "hill start assist". Click on this; you can set it to early, normal, or late, depending on when you want the hill start assist to activate; the YouTuber recommends "normal". The system is the same for both Android and iOS.
