The replacement of the rear shock absorbers on this model of car is quite simple to carry out since it is possible to operate everything from the outside without accessing the luggage compartment; start by lifting the car on a lift and removing the rear wheel to have more room for maneuver (but it could also be avoided); then remove the fixing pin of the lower shock absorber eyelet and apply a support jack; remove the wheel arch to access the upper support and complete the disassembly; apply the support to the stem of the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for installation.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
