Front Axle Replacement

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Axle shaft

Remove the central bolt located on the affected wheel for this procedure, as well as the bolts that secure the wheel so you can take it off. You will need long enough tools to reach the bolts that need to be removed to complete these operations. Once the bolts are removed, the axle should easily come out of its housing on the differential. By pushing it from the center of the wheel, it will slide out of its shaft, allowing you to remove it safely, perform your maintenance, and follow the steps in reverse for reassembly.
