To remind you to change the engine oil on the Audi A3, a reminder message appears on the instrument display upon starting. After completing all the maintenance tasks, reset the system that manages the notification.

While seated in the driver's seat, turn on the instrument display; once the initial check is complete, rotate the button to the right of the display counter-clockwise to bring up the oil change screen. Pull the button towards you until three dashes appear instead of the duration and mileage indication.

Release the button, and upon the next restart, you can check the updated maintenance interval.
