If you need to open the bonnet for maintenance on an Audi A3, follow this brief tutorial. First, lift the release lever located inside the cabin, near the driver's door.

Once you pull the lever, the bonnet will lift slightly. Go to the front of the vehicle, place your hand in the centre of the bonnet, push the internal lever to the right, and open the bonnet.

To keep it open, use the prop rod. To close it, simply let it down firmly but not too hard.
