Have you recently got a new car and don't know how to open the front bonnet? Here's how to open the bonnet on your Audi A3: Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and release the catch. Raise it upwards and secure it with the prop rod (if present).

Now that the bonnet is open, you can perform your necessary maintenance. To close the bonnet: remove the prop rod and let the bonnet drop from a minimal height.

Ensure it closes properly.
