In this brief and simple guide, you will find instructions to remove and replace the alternator on the Audi A6 3.0 TDI. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the front bumper to access the alternator. Disconnect the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner, then remove the bolts securing the alternator, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the alternator wiring to remove it, and replace it with the new original part. Reinstall the alternator and all other components by following the reverse procedure!
