Resetting the Audi MMI System

If the touch controls of the Audi MMI multimedia system suddenly do not respond properly or the navigator freezes on a screen, it is advisable to restart the system. Sit in the driver's seat, with the instrument panel on, press and hold the volume knob on the centre console for ten seconds.

You will see the screens for the navigator and climate control turn off; release the knob and after a few seconds, the welcome screen will appear, followed by all functions. The reset procedure will take a couple of minutes.
