Start the motorcycle engine for a couple of minutes. This will warm the oil, making it more fluid, which means it will flow better when you remove it. Of course, do not keep the motorcycle running for more than a few minutes, or it will be too hot to work on. Remove both the lower nut of the oil sump and allow the lubricant to drain out. Collect it in a container. Unscrew the filter and install the new one, starting it by hand. VERY IMPORTANT: lubricate the O-ring of the new filter using some used oil before fitting it. Tighten the lower nut using a torque wrench if possible (22 Nm).
