Let’s go through the procedure for performing routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Benelli TRK 502. First, place the motorcycle on its centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine; allow the old oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, use an oil filter wrench to unscrew the oil filter located near the exhaust headers; replace the cartridge with a new one, tightening gently. Finally, pour in the new engine oil!
