In order to replace the fuel filter of the BMW K100, you need to open the fuel tank cover, so that you can access the screws underneath that hold it to the tank: once the screws have been removed, you can detach the cover and the entire mechanism, in order to access the filter inside. By disconnecting the fuel lines, you can completely remove the old filter in order to insert the new one: the new filter must be attached to its seat by connecting the lines and reinserting the cover.
