How to Start a BMW K100

Before you can start, position your BMW K100 on its side stand. Begin by inserting the key into the ignition switch and turning it clockwise.

Next, open the fuel tap located beneath the rider's seat. After this, pull and hold the clutch lever, then press and hold the starter button located beneath the throttle grip.

Keep it pressed until the engine starts. When the engine is running, you can release the starter button and the clutch lever, completing the procedure.
