In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW K100 LT, you need to loosen the screws that secure the windshield of the motorcycle, so that it can be completely removed: after removing the windshield, you will need to loosen all the screws that secure the front panel of the motorcycle.

This can now be detached in order to access the screws that secure the panel to its seat: by unscrewing these screws, it will also be possible to disconnect the underlying connectors so that the instrument panel can be removed and replaced with a new spare part.
