How to replace an air filter on BMW R 1200 Gs Lc

To replace the air filter on BMW R 1200 GS LC it will be necessary to remove the fairing in the central part of the tank, this will be fixed with five screws, the first two will be hidden in the lower part of the saddle and just remove the saddle to be able to unscrew them. the other three will be visible on the opposite side at the steering wheel. After removing the five screws the fairing should come off easily and will give access to the air box which houses the air filter located between the fuel cap and the steering wheel. At the four corners of the air box there will be four screws, these must be unscrewed in order to remove the cover of the air box that houses the air filter. Once the cover is opened, you will have access to the air filter which will be held in place by a plastic frame, at this point it will be sufficient to remove the plastic frame to be able to replace the filter with a new one and you can then proceed by reassembling everything in the reverse order to that of disassembly.
