In this tutorial, you will learn how to change the transmission oil in the BMW R1300 GS, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough, then remove the rear mudguard by unscrewing the relevant bolts with a Torx T30 key. Next, position a container beneath the transmission casing, unscrew the drain hole bolt with a Torx T45 key, and unscrew the filler cap with a 6mm hex key. Once all the oil has drained from the system, tighten the lower cap, add the necessary amount of oil, and reassemble everything.
