How to change the engine oil of a BMW R1300 GS?

Model: Bmw R 1300 Gs
Part: Engine oil

Video tutorial

To change the engine oil of a BMW R1300 GS, start by positioning the motorcycle on a flat surface and making sure it is stable on the center stand. Wait for the engine to cool down if it has been recently used, then locate the drain plug under the engine base.

Using a suitable wrench, unscrew the plug and let the old oil drain completely into a suitable container. Once the oil has drained, clean the threading of the plug and reassemble it tightly.

Finally, remove the oil tank cap, pour the specified amount of new oil recommended by the manufacturer, and check the level before briefly starting the engine to ensure that the system is properly lubricated.
