First, as clearly shown in the video, remove the lower front fairing in front of the engine compartment. This will give you access to the central bolt that keeps the alternator belt tensioned. The tool shown in the video is a special clamp that aids the operation by loosening the bolt more easily. Using this tool is not absolutely necessary. Simply loosen the aforementioned bolt to remove the alternator belt from its seat. Correctly fit the new belt (in the same way the original was fitted) and tighten the bolt. Refit the fairing.
