How to reset the BMW S1000RR service warning light

The guide shows how to reset the scheduled maintenance warning light on the BMW S1000RR. With the instrument panel on, the first operation to perform is to connect the adapter cable to the socket on the motorcycle; at this point it is possible to connect the ODBLink to the cable just installed. Connect with the bluetooth of the mobile phone to the OBDLink network. Check, before carrying out any operation, if there are any OBDLink firmware updates. From the MotoScan application it is possible to reset the service light; It is recommended to buy the pro version of the application. Select the model of the motorcycle; select the tab relating to the instrument cluster â € œInstrument clusterâ € and wait for the end of the procedure; by clicking on the tab just selected, the service reset button will be shown. From this page it is possible to modify some parameters relating to the onset of the light. After pressing the reset button, the warning light on the instrument panel will go out. At this point it is possible to switch off the engine and disconnect the appliance. Check that the operation was successful by switching the instrument panel back on.
