Before resetting the "service" light, ensure your BMW R 1200GS LC is on a stable and secure stand to work safely. At this point, connect the electronic interface device to the onboard computer. The connection should be made using the plug located under the right side cover, just below the fuel tank. Now, launch the "Moto Scan" app on your phone and select your motorcycle model. Choose the "Instrumentation" menu option and then "Service Reset". Reset the two entries indicating the date and mileage, and you're done!
