Adjusting the Headlight on BMW R 1200 GS

To ensure the operator's safety, stabilise your BMW R 1200 GS securely on the stand. It is advisable to take this precaution whenever performing maintenance on a motorcycle.

Now, measure the height of the front headlight. Mark this measured height on a wall.

Next, position your motorcycle 10 metres away from the wall. Turn on the headlight and, using your fingers, adjust (the headlight adjuster is located under the handlebars, on the right, as shown in the video images) the height of the beam of light to the height marked on the wall.

How to replace the transmission oil in the KTM Exc 300
