In this tutorial, remove and replace the front brake pads on the BMW F800 GS motorcycle by following these simple steps. First, remove the brake pad retaining clips using a pair of thin pliers; then, slide out the central pin by tapping on the front side, as shown in the video.

At this point, you can remove the old brake pads from inside, cleaning the caliper of any residual dirt before fitting the new ones; simply apply the reverse procedure of disassembly!

The front brake pads on an Aprilia RS 457 can be replaced by unscrewing the bolts that secure the caliper to the corresponding disc, allowing it to be removed: once the caliper has been removed, you can slide out the pin that holds the pads in their place.
