Model: Bmw Gs 1200
To change the alternator belt of the Bmw GS 1200, we start by placing the motorcycle on the center stand. By unscrewing the five fixing screws, we remove the black plastic cover that protects the belt housing: the possible presence of the engine guard bar makes the removal of the cover less simple. With the engine off, we engage the sixth gear. We pass a sturdy strap over the belt to help us pull it outward and at the same time, perhaps with the help of another person, we rotate the rear wheel. By acting on the strap, the belt will come out of the lower pulley and we can remove it. We position the new belt by inserting it on the upper pulley and resting it on the lower one, while rotating the rear wheel, always with the sixth gear engaged, slowly it will position itself in its housing.

How do you dismantle the engine of the Gilera DNA 50?The disassembly procedure of the Gilera DNA 50 engine involves removing the engine from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting all the cables related to its sensors: at this point it will be possible to proceed by loosening the screws that fix the cylinder to the top of the engine block, removing the spark plug and the specific coil. At this point, the underlying piston can be detached from its connecting rod and then it will be possible to access the additional internal components; then all the new replacement parts can be inserted and the engine can be reassembled in its seat. by ScegliAuto More videos
