This guide will show you how to bleed and top up the engine coolant of the BMW R1250 GS motorcycle. First, place the bike on its centre stand and start unscrewing the coolant bleed screw, allowing the fluid to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then, remove the coolant reservoir and drain any excess fluid.

At this point, top up with the new coolant suitable for your radiator, filling it to the maximum level mark!
