To change the engine oil of a BMW S1000R, start by positioning the motorcycle on a flat surface and lifting it with a center stand or appropriate support. Make sure the engine is cold. Remove the oil drain plug and unscrew the oil cap on the engine cover. Place a container under the drain plug to collect the used oil. Completely empty the used oil from the engine. Make sure the drain plug is securely tightened. Slowly pour the new oil into the oil filler using a funnel. Consult the owner's manual for the correct oil specifications and the required quantity. Once the oil is added, securely close the oil cap on the engine cover. Clean any residue and check for leaks.
