In this article we will see how to replace the battery of the BMW 3 Series F31. The battery of this car is located in the trunk under the support surface on the right side, to replace it you must first open the trunk, then remove the first cover panel by lifting it, then with the help of pliers or the appropriate tool remove the plastic clips securing the cover located on the right, at this point remove the fastening clips of the plastic cover, once removed, remove the cover. At this point you will have access to the battery, now you will need to remove the 2 10 millimeter bolts of the fastening bar and then remove the bar to have full access to the battery, now simply remove the battery terminals and remove the old battery, insert the new one and reinsert the terminals and covers previously removed.
