In order to replace the button battery inside the key of your BMW 3 Series F31 on your own, simply follow the steps described in our new guide. First, remove the emergency key from inside the cover, then use it to remove the back cover and locate the exhausted battery.

Once found, remove it and replace it with a new battery of the same type, CR2450. Finally, reassemble the back cover and insert the physical emergency key inside to successfully complete the procedure.
