How to replace the gearbox oil of the BMW X3

When the gearbox shows strong jerking and vibrations, it is necessary to perform a automatic gearbox flush. We start the procedure by adding the "BLUE" additive suitable for gearbox flushing into the tank. To allow the additive to circulate, it is necessary to drive the vehicle for at least 30 minutes and then immediately open the oil drain plug and let all the fluid drain out. Once the fluid has stopped draining, unscrew the drain plug to remove and replace the filter; after completing this operation, reassemble the drain plug. Insert the machine tubes into the gearbox to perform the flush. When the fluid appears clean, we can remove the tubes and add oil to the gearbox tank if necessary.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
