How to Replace the Transmission Fluid in a BMW X3?

To replace the transmission fluid in a BMW X3, access the underside of the vehicle to loosen the screws securing the protection plate below. Once this plate is loosened, remove it and unscrew the drain plug from the oil reservoir. This will allow all the oil to flow into a container, while also removing the oil pan. You can then reinstall the pan to proceed with refilling: this should be done through the side vent, using a pump to insert the oil.
