How to Change the Transfer Case Oil on a BMW X3?

Model: BMW X3 MK 2, F25 - Years 2010-2017

To change the transfer case oil on a BMW X3, access the underside of the vehicle at the rear axle: here you will find the drain plug for the transfer case oil reservoir. By unscrewing this plug and placing a container underneath, you can collect all the used oil. Once it has completely drained, insert the new oil using a syringe. After the new oil is added, it is recommended to seal the plug with a torque of 44 lb-ft.
