How do you replace the battery in a BMW 1 Series F20?

Model: BMW Serie 1 F20, F21, MK 2 - Years 2011-2019
Part: Battery

Changing the battery on your car is not complicated but it requires a bit of attention and manual dexterity. Open the trunk and lift the bottom panel because the battery is there. Disconnect the negative pole, the black one, and then the positive one, the red one. Unscrew the support that holds the battery in place and carefully remove it because it is heavy. Insert the new battery, reconnect the positive pole first and then the negative one, secure everything properly and make sure it is stable. At this point, you need to register it with the OBD to avoid problems with the energy management system. If you have a diagnostic tool, do it yourself, otherwise it is better to go to the mechanic.

Timing Belt Replacement on Audi Q5

The timing belt on the Audi Q5 has reached its mileage limit, so what should you do? Let's go through the removal of the belts on the Q5. Open and lift the hood of the engine, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers of the belts located on the left side of the engine. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After installing the new belt, use a wrench to install the tensioner pulley, and tighten it until the belt has the correct tension (install both belts). Reinstall the covering plastics. Start and test the Audi Q5 engine.
