In today's article, we will see how to replace the battery of the BMW I3 key. The procedure is simple, and only requires a flathead screwdriver and a CR2032 battery. First, you need to remove the physical key by pressing the appropriate button and pulling the key outwards. After removing the physical key, use the screwdriver to insert it into the key housing and make a slight rotation to remove the back cover of the key. At this point, you will have access to the battery, replace it, reinsert the cover by pressing it with your hands to secure it, and then reinsert the physical key into its housing.
