Car Radio Disassembly Instructions

Model: BMW X5 E53 - Years 1999-2006

First, remove the volume control knob of the car radio by simply pulling it off: just behind the knob is a small Torx screw that needs to be turned to release the car radio display.
Then extract the display by disconnecting the connectors attached to it.
At this point, unscrew the other two Torx screws securing the CD player and remove it from its slot by disconnecting the respective connectors.
For reassembly, proceed in reverse order by first connecting the CD player and securing it with the respective screws; then connect the car radio display, tighten the securing screw, and reposition the knob.
