Replacing Door Speakers

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Start by removing the cover above the armrest to access the screw, then unscrew the screws located under the armrest. Using a plastic spatula, gently remove the panel under the glass at the handle height to access the underlying screws that need to be removed. Also, use the plastic spatula to pry along the edges of the panel, which should be carefully pulled upward. Disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, being careful not to pull them and the mechanical lever. Remove the speaker bracket and take it out. Remove the woofer speaker from the bracket by taking out the three screws and install the new one. Repeat the same operation with the tweeter speaker, paying attention to the mounting reference. Reassemble the new panel starting with the connection of the electrical wires. Position the panel upward and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reinsert the screws.
