Removing the Diesel Filter from a BMW X6

Model: BMW X6 MK 1, E71 - Years 2007-2014

Remove the used diesel filter from a BMW X6. Lift the vehicle on a column lift. Remove the plastic cover that conceals the filter. Locate the filter, and with a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening bolts near the filter (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle. Clean the filter housing thoroughly, install the new filter (connect the hoses and wires), and tighten the appropriate bolts. Reinstall the plastic covers under the vehicle.
