BMW 3 Series E90 battery replacement

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

Open the trunk lid and look to your right. In the frame of the trunk there is in fact a small door that you can easily remove and which hides, behind it, the much sought after battery. Unscrew the bolts holding the fixing bracket. Unscrew the negative pole with a 10 mm wrench, then disconnect the blue connector by pulling it out with a small flathead screwdriver. Similarly disconnect the black tube present in the hidden part of the battery. Unscrew the positive pole (also here with a 10 wrench). Open the side retaining clips and remove the battery. Proceed backwards for assembly.

How to Replace the Gear Knob on a Mini

Want to replace the gear knob on a Mini? Follow these steps for the replacement: first, take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the gear stick. Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if it needs replacing). For reassembly: fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and push it onto the stick in the centre console until it is secured. Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
