Resetting Service Indicator for Upcoming Maintenance (On-Board Computer Registration)

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Service warning light

Start the engine and press and hold the trip reset button until a triangle with an exclamation point appears on the instrument cluster display, confirming entry into the service menu; then scroll through the menu using the button on the turn signal lever to view the various service items: the bottom of the display will show the date or remaining miles before the next maintenance is due; once you select the item to reset, press and hold the button until the reset request appears, then press again to confirm and reset.
