Replacement of the exterior handle on BMW 1 Series

Model: BMW Serie 1 E87, E82, E81, MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

Open the door and remove the round screw cover under which there is the bolt that secures the handle: unscrew it. At this point you can extract the lock cylinder by slightly shaking it and pulling it outwards. At this point, with a small flat screwdriver move the lever that fixes the handle and extract it, as well demonstrated in the video. Proceed backwards to reassemble the handle by simply inserting it by hand and then insert the cylinder, tightening the rear fixing bolt. As you can see, this is a very simple operation within everyone's reach.
